Belmont Manor Wedding : Kathy + Josh

All the rain we’ve been getting this summer has me reminiscing about some of my favorite rainy day wedding memories. Those memories definitely aren’t complete without Kathy and Josh’s beautiful Belmont Manor wedding. While it didn’t rain a whole lot that day, it was still enough to warrant breaking out the umbrellas for a few adorable portraits. I mean, pretty much no bride or groom wants rain on their wedding day, but there’s something extra special to me about portraits in the rain. It’s easy to smile when the weather on your wedding day is perfect, but when the weather isn’t so great, I feel like those smiles and love between the couple just pops even more. Like nothing can stop it. It’s also only fitting that they shared a few rainy wedding day moments together because Josh proposed to Kathy in their home during a torrential rain storm. Full circle, folks.

Kathy and Josh shared an adorable first look, had a beautiful outdoor ceremony in the gardens at Belmont Manor with the amazing Rev. Laura C. Cannon, and then danced the night away with one of my favorite DJs, Jacob from District Remix. Sounds pretty perfect to me. Now enjoy all their pretty photos! 🙂
