I think I’m officially naming my 2015 couples the Fed Hill Generation. Don’t get me wrong….I love Fed Hill! There are so many places in that area to take photos. It just seemed like every time I would ask my brides and grooms where they wanted to do their engagement session they would answer with Fed Hill and I couldn’t help but giggle to myself. I counted and out of the 15 engagement sessions I’ve done since the end of last year (I still have a few more coming up and some couples opted not to do an engagement session), 6 of them have been in Fed Hill. But who can blame the Fed Hill Generation?! Look at that view!!
Kristin and Ian, one of my goofiest 2015 couples (LOVE this couple!!), woke up bright and early two weekends ago to catch the sun just as it was rising over the hill for some beautiful engagement photos. While the forecast luckily changed and was no longer calling for rain that morning, we were left with one WINDY morning! Like so windy to the point that we had to grab that iconic top of the hill photo real quick and then move down the East side of the hill to try and use it to naturally block the wind for us. Some spots it worked and some spots it didn’t but Kristin and Ian were patient and smiled and made the best of it. And we were still able to get the jersey and championship belt photos for Ian because, like a guy, that’s all he was worried about. 😉
I can’t wait for their beautiful winter December wedding at The Royal Sonesta!!
So I kind of have this new obsession with taking a quick sequence of photos of twirls and then showing them all here. It’s so fun! 🙂Or maybe a fake slap is better than a twirl?! This was without direction….I just snap away at what I see 😉
So sweet! Love that ring shot!
I love how the colors just pop in the images taken at the American Visionary Art Museum! They look like such a fun and lovely couple! Some of these photos made my laugh out loud, literally! LOVE!

These are gorgeous Lauren! I love the Maryland flag… so cool!
