You guys it is brr. Major brrrr. I don’t like it. I wish I had some sunny images of tropical places to show you to at least make you think warm thoughts but……..I don’t. I have snow. Lots and lots of snow. At least we can all be happy that it’s not blizzarding (is that a word??) like it did, right? Right?? Although that blizzard is what left all this snow for us to play in for Chad and Mary’s Oregon Ridge Park engagement shoot so I can’t be too mad at it.
I’m taking a break from the Best of 2015 series for just a moment because Chad and Mary deserve to see their photos! We didn’t have any plans yet for their engagement shoot but Mary emailed a few days after the blizzard saying she had an idea that it might be cool to take advantage of the beautiful snowy landscape for their engagement photos and wanted to know if I thought she was crazy. Girl….not crazy at all! I loved the idea and we set the shoot up for that weekend because who knew how long the snow was going to stick around for and, as we saw, it wasn’t for long!
These two are natural cuddlers and snugglers and they made my job so easy. Other than the fact that Chad is not good at pretending he’s not freezing, it went really well 😉 Thank you for trudging through the snow with me and a big thanks to Mary’s parents for being the dog sitter! I absolutely cannot wait for Belmont Manor in September!
Chad didn’t get the memo that you were supposed to just throw the snow up and not up and onto yourself. As they were walking I realized he was shivering and his face was soaking wet. Mary had to clean him up a little 🙂
This is such a fun session! They are so adorable together!
These are gorgeous and totally worth the cold! I’m so glad the snow stuck around long enough for you guys to do this! It melted so quickly! I love their choice of outfits too, perfect!
Wow!!! Such beauty!! Love you three!!!
