True best friends.  That’s what I saw when I looked at Nadine and Jake together on their wedding day.  They have so much fun together……the kind where I really do think that they’ll still be making each other laugh and smile 50 years from now.  Their wedding day was full of perhaps the most smiles, laughs, and tears  than I’ve ever seen at a wedding, and it was such an amazing ride to be there to witness it all and be a part of it.  The emotion on Jake’s face as Nadine walked towards him down the aisle, to the excitement and overwhelming happiness as Jake and Nadine saw their reception space all done up for the first time, to the pure joy that I saw on Nadine’s face as she revealed a couple surprises to Jake throughout the day (you’ll see those in just a bit!)…..this was a thoughtful and emotional wedding day from beginning to end.  Truly one of the most heartwarming weddings I’ve ever had the privilege of documenting.

There is so much more to say about this wedding since there was so much going on!  I started off with the ladies for getting ready photos while my awesome second shooter, Anna, started out with the guys at Nadine and Jake’s house.  Nadine chose the most unique dress that fit her personality and she couldn’t have looked more stunning.  Than I had no idea Jake was such a goofball but I’m so glad that coughcoughafterafewdrinkscough Jake was able to open up to Anna’s camera and show that fun side of himself.  Showing off his golf swing and making muscles in every other photos…..he’s a total ham!  They said “I do” at the Corpus Christi Parish in Baltimore where it poured down rain but then stopped just in time for us to head to Mt Vernon for portraits.  It sprinkled on and off but we couldn’t be phased….not with the beautiful surroundings and a good looking newly married couple!  Then it was off to The Belvedere for a few more portraits and one hell of a party!!

I loved the different shapes of the bridesmaids dresses and all the unique necklaces they chose to match.  

I give major props to Anna for wrangling all these boys together!Love this shot that Anna grabbed of Nadine and her Mom minutes before she walked down the aisle.Seeing their reception space for the first time…..Surprise for Jake #1!  He’s a huge Bills and Syracuse fan.  Check out that groom’s cake  🙂This makes me smile.  During their first dance to “All of Me” by John Legend…………”you’re crazy and I’m out of my mind….”  Again….this dress!!!

Surprise #2 for Jake!!  Otto the Orange!!!  Jake just about lost it  🙂
