Kate and Matt are getting married and they are so stinking cute!! They are two smart cookies who love taking advantage of the great outdoors by doing things like running and mountain biking. When it came time to decide on a location for their engagement shoot, it was a no-brainer. During our chat the first time we met, Kate and Matt told me about all their athletic endeavors and said that they love to go running in Patapsco Valley State Park (while also scaring me away from ever mountain biking by describing how dangerous and scary it is. Think about it. Riding a bike on the side of a mountain relying on your own balance on two skinny wheels. I don’t know if I have that much faith in myself. I hit one rock wrong and there I go……off the side of a cliff. That does not mix well with my slight fear of heights. No thank you.). We lucked out that a place that actually has meaning to them is also a gorgeous spot for engagement photos!
I had such a great time wandering around a little area of Patapsco Valley State Park with them, giving them goofy directions, and being witness to all their adorable in between moments. I have no doubt their wedding next year is going to bring so many smiles to my face. And theirs, too, obviously 🙂
Happy Engagement, Kate and Matt!!! I can’t wait to celebrate with you!
P.S. – They brought me a huge slice of chocolate cake that was left from a potluck at Kate’s work that day. Once we finished the session I ate the whole thing and it was delicious. I have the best couples in the universe. Proof.
Well Hello Mr. Bee 🙂You guys…..you have got to work on that chest bump.
These two look like so much fun!! I just love the pictures on the bridge – such beautiful light!!
That dreamy light! I really love this engagement session. The location and the couple are beautiful. You captured them perfectly!
Do you know what area of the park this is located?
This was in the Avalon area of the park.
