I’ve admitted in previous blogs that writing is not my thing…..I struggle to find what I want to write all the time. And please don’t get me wrong, it’s not because I don’t care about my brides and grooms or anything like that. It’s just so hard because every wedding is a completely different story in itself and I could go on and on about each and every one but I know that I need to keep it short and kind of pick one thing to concentrate on so I don’t bore everybody out there with my ramblings (like I’m starting to do now). So as I sat here wondering what part of Michelle and Cory’s wedding story from Rolling Road Golf Club I wanted to hone in on, I kept coming back to how young these two are but how much I love their love and how much you can see it in their eyes and interactions that they absolutely adore each other and are the best of friends. I kept thinking of how much of a whirlwind these two have been on in the past few weeks. They both graduated from college (and I’m talking undergrad……they’re so young…..I’m so old! haha!) and then, about a week later, this wedding happened. Two major life milestones in the span of just a week. Crazy!! But so amazing!! And then a quote popped into my head. A quote from When Harry Met Sally, which actually came out before Michelle and Cory were ever born…….
“When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible”
That’s Michelle and Cory. Yeah, they could have waited a while after graduation……but, seriously, why wait? When you know….and believe me, when you see them together you can see that they know…….go ahead and start that adventure. And that’s exactly what they did! It was a beautiful ceremony set amid a gorgeous golf course and their reception was so full of fun and laughter and a few tears. Michelle was stunning and Cory’s face when he first saw her walking down those steps towards him was priceless. But enough of all these words. On to the pictures because I’m way better at those 🙂
That photo there on the right…..that’s Michelle’s “oh wow” face after she put the first earring on and saw how gorgeous she looked 🙂Adorable.Family photos can be fun, too!I am obsessed with this shot…..Cory’s Dad was giving an incredible blessing and I caught Michelle with a tear.
