Here it is! The final installment of my Best of 2015 blog series!! And what better way to end it than with my favorite part of the wedding day for photos…..the bride and groom portraits!
Bride and groom portrait time is my chance to get the bride and groom off by themselves for a chance to have some alone time. They can talk and laugh and cuddle and relish in the amazingness that is their day. No other time of the entire day do they get to do so without a crowd, so this is my chance to capture their love sans distractions. It’s my chance to breathe and really be intentional with images I create (unless the timeline has gone awry of course)….to play with the setting sun, explore these gorgeous venues they’ve chosen, and see genuine and true interactions. I just love it.
So here they are. Some of my favorite bride and groom portraits from the weddings I had the honor of photographing in 2015. I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating, I have the best clients I could ever ask for and I am truly thankful that they entrust in me the job of capturing their wedding day memories. Thank you to all of you that I worked with in 2015. I had a blast and I hope you all did, too. Now….on to 2016!!
So many beautiful and unique shots, Lauren! So lovely!
