I’m sure I’ve said it before, but it’s worth repeating…..when a couple books you because they were at a wedding you photographed in the past and ended up loving the photos, it is one of the biggest compliments you can get as a photographer. It lets you know you’re doing something right. James and Darci attended the wedding of a childhood friend of mine and I couldn’t be more honored to now get to have them in front of my camera. They’re a fun, laid-back couple and, if you know me at all, you know that’s just my type! 🙂
I loved getting to wander around a small part of the huge Patapsco Valley State Park with them this past Fall. I had never been but have always seen photos from other sessions so I was excited to finally have my shot at it. We crossed streams……..well ok Darci and James crossed streams while I got to be lazy and stay on the other side…….upset a grumpy lady on the suspension bridge because I asked her for just 2 minutes and then she could cross, talked about ghosts and murders, and hiked a little ways to a gorgeous spot with a waterfall and an overlook of some of the most colorful trees. Success!!!
I can’t wait for these two to get married next year along the shores of the Bay at the Beach Club. I don’t think it’s haunted there but I’m sure we can make something up haha!! 😉
The colors are so vibrant! I also like the use of OCF on the last photo!
Love love love those bridge photos! And her ring! and their pup!
BAHAH!! The grumpy old lady comment killed me! LoL! This is SO fall and SO pretty! Seriously, it’s just a perfect session. They are super sweet together and you really captured the beauty of everything! Umm…loving those OCF skills girl, get it!
Oh wow, those ones on the bridge are ah-maz-ing. These are fantastic!
