Eleanor and Kyle decided that their love story wasn’t going to be the big, elaborate wedding.  Their love story fit better with a simple, intimate elopement.  But first, they did want to document their engagement and this time in their lives with some photos.  And that’s where I came in  🙂

I met Eleanor and Kyle at Kyle’s Dad’s house in Deale, Maryland.  We took a quick car ride down to the water and braved the ridiculously crazy winds for some engagement photos that I’m in love with.  It can get tough taking photos in such strong winds….hair flies in your face so you’re limited in which direction you can stand, water splashes up onto the dock…..it’s maybe not picture perfect but I think it makes for perfect pictures.  You don’t need some Beyonce fan to give your hair that windblown look.  Your maxi dress plays in the wind.  So much movement is infused into the photos simply because of Mother Nature.

I am beyond words glad I could do these photos for Eleanor and Kyle.  They’re an amazing couple that has already endured so much in their relationship together and it touched my heart to be able to be there with them.  Eleanor and Kyle, I wish you so much happiness in your life together!
