Next up in my attempt to get back to blogging is Laura and Michal’s intimate Fiola Mare Georgetown wedding.  Laura and Michal wanted a low-key, intimate wedding day, and I think they pulled it off perfectly.  I had never met either of them before, but I quickly felt at home and knew I was in for a good day when I saw Laura and Michal for the first time and they were walking over to me hand in hand for portraits before their ceremony.  Michal was looking super handsome and Laura was drop-dead gorgeous in her white cocktail dress and they both had big smiles on their faces.  We met at the Netherlands Carillon where we were surrounded by sunshine and beautiful flowers.  These two were immediate super models…..though Laura did catch on a little quicker than Michal.  It took a few attempts and lots of laughs to finally capture Michal’s GQ model walk  😉

After portrait time, we headed to a local church for their ceremony and then it was off to the Georgetown waterfront for a few photos with friends.  After a fun big group picture we all made our way in to Fiola Mare where Laura and Michal treated their family and friends to a delicious dinner that made me drool and realize I definitely need to go back to that place and try their food for myself.  It all looked amazing.  A couple toasts were given and then I called it a day.  Low-key.  Intimate.  Perfect.
