So if I had to give out an award to for happiest bride ever it would go to Melissa. I’ve seen happy brides. It’s wonderful. It’s infectious. But never have I seen anything like the smile and energy of Melissa at her and Ryan’s Hunt Valley Golf Club wedding. And that speaks to how great of a guy Ryan is, to make this beautiful lady such a happy bride. I would imagine that, doing so, makes him the happiest guy in the world.
There was the threat of rain the entire week leading up to Melissa and Ryan’s wedding day and, while it did pour down rain before we arrived at Hunt Valley Golf Club, the clouds parted, the skies became blue, and sun shone down for them right before the ceremony started. The rest of the day was filled with huge smiles, loads of laughter, and Melissa dancing like a crazy person the entire night (she knows I mean that with love 😉 ). You know how you see kids playing for hours and you comment about how you wish you had that much energy? Well I actually said that about Melissa. The girl didn’t stop. Definitely my favorite part about their wedding day was watching her relish in every single second and Ryan loving her craziness and admitting he couldn’t keep up. 😉
There were so many funny and sweet moments sprinkled throughout the day that it kept me smiling behind the lens. During the ceremony, their officiant read parts of Melissa and Ryan’s answers to the question “What do you love about Ryan/Melissa?” and they had never heard each other’s answers before. One thing that Melissa said about Ryan is that she loves that he lets her have the last piece of pizza. That’s a good man right there! It’s the little things people 🙂 Or you can’t beat a best man speech that includes “True love is a lot like peeing your pants. Everyone else can see it, but only you can feel it”. I honestly haven’t figured out if that actually makes sense, but it got a good laugh. It really was a day filled with pure happiness and I am so grateful that I got to be the one there to appreciate it. Thank you Melissa and Ryan for being a happy bride and groom and making my job so incredibly easy and rewarding. Hope you love the photos!
