I love when I can really get a good feel for a bride and groom’s personalities by simply looking at what they have planned for their wedding. One look at Kathy’s dress for her Howard County Conservancy wedding to John told me all I needed to know. I was going to love this couple and their wedding. Down to earth, relaxed, and natural. A short, adorable dress with embroidered leaves. A beautiful bouquet with touches of succulents. Tables adorned with hand-painted recycled wine bottles. A crown of pearl accents to go with long beautiful curls. All amidst the country backdrop of the Conservancy.
But I also can’t forget to make mention of this crazy bridal party. I’m not sure if I’ve ever laughed so much with a bridal party more than I did with these guys. Many things were said that cannot be repeated on this blog that innocent eyes might read. 😉 And I also have to say that I have never before received a wedding timeline from one of my couples where the first “event” of the day was a 5K run for the entire bridal party in the morning. Seriously. Notice the photo of the basket full of bananas a couple pictures down. Nobody wants muscle cramps! I was even told that the guys decided to run an extra like 10 miles after finishing the 5K. Just because.
Running is totally not my thing, but pretty weddings are, and this one was just that. Thank you Kathy and John for an amazing time with you guys!!
I love these! The colors in their wedding are perfect! Beautiful bride!
This wedding is amazing!! I love her style and how well they utilized the venue. I’ve been there a bunch but never for a wedding. So cool!
Thank you for these beautiful photos, Lauren! Even the “stump picture” turned out great.
