Hi, I'm Lauren! Welcome to my blog! I'm a Maryland wedding and portrait photographer that loves beautiful light and has an obsession with the water. This is my pretty little place to show off all of my most recent photography adventures and the stories behind them. So get comfy and have a look around!

Lacey and John’s Cylburn Arboretum / Camden Yards Engagement Session {Maryland Portrait Photographer}

Two good looking people and two amazing locations that I’ve never shot at before.  Winning!!!!  I’m so excited for Lacey and John’s 2015 wedding but, before that happens, we strolled around Cylburn Arboretum and then Camden Yards for one of my most favorite engagement shoots ever!  I’m seriously in love with Cylburn Arboretum and was, admittedly, somewhat overwhelmed with all the prettiness there…..I didn’t know where to start!  It was pretty overload.  But after a short walk where John was a good citizen and called the owner of a random dog on the loose that came up to him and some secret save-the-date photos with their own cute dog, Penny, Lacey and John quickly warmed up to the camera and were laughing and snuggling like pros.  Then we were off to Camden Yards to frolic around as we pleased because Lacey does marketing for the Orioles…..so fun!  I then learned that, up until a few weeks ago, John didn’t know how to blow bubbles with bubblegum.  What??!!  Lacey wanted to do a photo with the two of them sitting next to each other in the Orioles dugout  blowing bubbles, but John had to learn how to first!  So he did what any determined person would do and went to the store and bought a ton of different kinds of gum to find out which gum is the best bubble blowing gum.  Bubble Yum people.  Bubble Yum  🙂  It only worked out for a split second, as Lacey and John couldn’t quite seem to get the hang of both blowing a successful bubble at the same time.  But I had a ton of fun laughing at them trying to in the process!  Maybe we’ll have to try again for the wedding photos???…..Lacey and John??  What do you say?  😉  I’m slightly obsessed with this photo.  It’s just so happy!Then I’m really obsessed with all the photos on the fallen tree.  Some sort of magic was working over there……Hahaha!  Oh you two…..
