Anne and Tom’s wedding has been in the making for a long, long time. These two first met in seventh grade English class and Tom can actually remember what Anne was wearing that day. He either had a weird obsession with early 2000’s fashion or his pretty classmate really caught his eye and was worth remembering. Then in junior year of high school they went on their first date, one that was, in Anne’s words, “a pretty typical high school date”. She dragged him to a friend’s dance performance at a high school talent show and then went to see Tristan and Isolde. That typical high school date must have worked it’s magic because fast forward even farther, through Tom graduating law school and Anne graduating med school, and this amazing couple were married at the beautiful Westfields Marriott and I was the lucky gal that had the honor of being there to capture it. They had a huge bridal party that consisted mostly of people they have been friends with since middle and high school and I had a blast hanging with them all day. Anne was absolutely stunning in her Watters gown and Tom was looking rather GQ in his custom dark grey suit. Fireball shots were had all around (well…..there was one Jameson shot mixed in there…..Laura!!) and the incredibly thoughtful gift of personalized handmade baseball bats were given to each groomsmen. Despite a rather large guest list, this felt like one of the most intimate and welcoming weddings I’ve been to and that is a true testament to the character of this incredible couple. I had actually never even met Anne or Tom in person before their wedding day but the instant I walked into the hotel room with the groomsmen, and later with the bridesmaids, I felt like a friend. The guys included me in judging their little competitions of who had the best shoes or best looking hair (they seriously competed over EVERYTHING) and the ladies were so stinking sweet….I just loved everybody! Anne and Tom, thank you so much for including me in your perfect day. I am so so lucky to have gotten to hang out with you on your wedding day!!! The laughs shared between these two were just so much fun. Tom had to make sure Anne thought his butt looked good since his pants were a little tighter than he was used to 😉Anne is a dancer btw. Check out her gorgeousness over there on the right. 🙂I don’t even know.
