Sometimes my brides and grooms give me such awesome answers to my bride & groom questionnaire questions that I wish I could just copy and paste all of them to share with you all. High school sweethearts Carly and Layne’s answers were definitely among those. Like when telling me about their first date Carly explained that Layne took her outside to see his lawnmowers and then asked her out while leaning against one of them. In her own words “How could I resist a man and his lawnmowers?”. Then Layne even remembered what Carly was wearing on their first car date (what does a car date mean??)….white jeans with a pink and white tank top. Too cute. Or describing how Layne proposed at a pumpkin patch where he had surprised her with their families waiting back at the barn and her “ugly crying face was present in all pictures. We had an apple cider toast and an old farmer gave us a $5 bill to start out wedding fund. We also saw a bald eagle flying over the pond at the orchard and a corgi in a Halloween costume”. Or when describing what she loves about Layne, Carly said, “We finish each other’s sentences and think the same thoughts (creeeeeepy!). Also, he doesn’t mind doing the dishes and taking the puppy out early in the morning, so that’s cool, too”. How can you not love the randomness of these two?! 🙂 They seriously are among the most entertaining and welcoming people I’ve ever met and I couldn’t be happier that I got to spend the day with them. They had me laughing constantly and I definitely felt like a friend by the end of the day.
Carly and Layne……love you guys!!
My second shooter for the day, Melissa, is awesome and I am so happy she kept me company for the day. I’m even happier she’s a lot of fun and a good sport when we get a bunch of crazy groomsmen 🙂

When I showed up for getting ready photos the girls had Frozen playing. I have to admit I now want to have Let It Go playing in the background when I take getting ready photos at every wedding. Olaf!! 🙂 Don’t worry Melissa, I won’t post pictures of a certain groomsmen trying to dance with you. Or maybe I just lied 😉 I’ve gotta say…..one of my favorite pictures from the day! 🙂
