Hi, I'm Lauren! Welcome to my blog! I'm a Maryland wedding and portrait photographer that loves beautiful light and has an obsession with the water. This is my pretty little place to show off all of my most recent photography adventures and the stories behind them. So get comfy and have a look around!

Emily + James : Western Maryland Wedding {Maryland Wedding Photographer}

I wanna make you smile whenever you’re sad.  Carry you around when your arthritis is bad.  All I wanna do is grow old with you.  I’ll get your medicine when your tummy aches.  Build you a fire if the furnace breaks.  Oh it could be so nice, growing old with you……….
Everyone loves that moment in The Wedding Singer when Adam Sandler’s character sings that on the plane, so it was adorably sweet when James surprised Emily by playing the guitar and singing that to her during their first look.  That is definitely up there as one of my favorite wedding moments of all time.  Good job, James  😉
Emily and James’s western Maryland wedding was full of sweet moments and personal touches.  They wanted their wedding day to be one that truly represented them as a couple and the thought and work they put into that resulted in a perfectly Emily and James celebration and I loved being a part of it.  The church they got married in is the same church that Emily’s parents and two sets of Aunts and Uncles got married in as well as where her grandparents renewed their vows.  How awesome is that?  There were also little mementos in the first pew of the church representing all the grandparents who have passed, which I thought was a really sweet way to have them be there.  And I can’t forget to mention the s’mores bar!!…..and the fact that James let me eat the s’more that he made.  I love my brides and grooms!  🙂  The Lane Center at Frostburg University was completely transformed into a beautiful space with glitter, gold, and colored lighting.  And do you all remember those Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies??  Well since Emily had her favorite dessert there, s’mores, she had a whole cake made out of those oatmeal creme pies for James because he’s pretty obsessed with them.
I seriously had so much fun hanging out with these two for the day.  James had me cracking up with his randomness and Emily made me laugh on top of that with all the faces she gives him.  I love the relationship they have and I wish them nothing but the happiest of a future together!
And my second shooter for the day, Maureen, thanks so much!  You’re awesome girly!
