Hi, I'm Lauren! Welcome to my blog! I'm a Maryland wedding and portrait photographer that loves beautiful light and has an obsession with the water. This is my pretty little place to show off all of my most recent photography adventures and the stories behind them. So get comfy and have a look around!

Courtney + Sean : Federal Hill / Inner Harbor E-Session {Maryland Portrait Photographer}

Courtney and Sean crack me up.  I’m going to call them closet goof balls.  They initially come off as all business and a little more serious, but then you get to know them a little and their true humor shines through and they’re just a total pleasure to be around.  We wandered around Federal Hill and the Inner Harbor for their engagement shoot a few weeks ago.  They took direction REALLY well and didn’t mess around….at first.  If they were smiling at my camera and then I told them to look at each other they would both snap their heads towards each other with a quickness.  But then I would start laughing at the quickness of it which made the two of them totally break character and start laughing with me.  I love the genuine smiles and happiness I was able to capture for them when that happened.  As can be seen by the first photo!  I can’t wait for their May 2014 wedding at the Frederick Douglass Maritime Museum!!
