Hi, I'm Lauren! Welcome to my blog! I'm a Maryland wedding and portrait photographer that loves beautiful light and has an obsession with the water. This is my pretty little place to show off all of my most recent photography adventures and the stories behind them. So get comfy and have a look around!

Erin + Thom : Elkridge Furnace Inn Wedding {Maryland Wedding Photographer}

Everything fell perfectly into place for Erin and Thom’s wedding at The Elkridge Furnace Inn.  Erin and Thom have such fun personalities and I loved every minute I got to spend with them….capturing all the funny faces they make at each other and every detail that was put into what I consider a wedding of modern elegance.  Sparkle and feathers and purple lighting brought the Inn to life and was the perfect counterbalance to the venue’s rustic feel.  Add in all the fun that follows Erin and Thom….a great group of friends of family…..and you end up with one of my most favorite and seriously easiest weddings of the year.  I told about Erin and Thom’s story of how they met when I shared their engagement photos, and they are proof that fate works in funny ways like that.  It brings you to that special person that you’re meant to spend your life with in some of the most random and cute ways sometimes.  🙂  I’m sure glad it did because their story eventually ended up including me and I couldn’t be more honored to have been a part of their wedding story.  And here is that wedding story as I saw it from behind my camera!  🙂

Venue:  Elkridge Furnace Inn

Event Planner:  Diana of Eventi Planning

Hair and Makeup:  The lovely ladies at Behind The Veil

DJ:  Dave Tieff

Flowers:  Wicked Willow

Lighting:  Event Dynamics

Showing off this Glamour Shot of Erin was an absolute necessity  😉 Color or B&W??  I just couldn’t decide for the next two photos.  When in doubt…just show both!  🙂 I’ve fallen in love with cigar smoke photos…

    Um dude. This is seriously the best wedding you’ve ever done. Hands. Freaking. Down. This is beyond amazing. The shot of her out the window of the bridal room is beautiful, the reception shots are all amazing, and the 2nd to last ring shot is so stunning I wish it was mine. The cigar shots are also totally baller. And can I just say how amazing uplighting is? I’ve been to this venue a few times and have seen many other photographers’ work from there and this is the most amazing I’ve ever seen that tent and a lot of it had to do with how it’s totally transformed with the pretty uplighting!ReplyCancel
