Kim and Mike make me smile.  A whole whole lot.  From my chats on the phone with Kim prior to their Chestertown engagement shoot, I knew that I was going to have no problem at all getting along with her and Mike and having a great time hanging out with them.  They are so sweet but, at the same time, not afraid to crack some jokes with me, which I definitely appreciate.  They wanted to do their shoot around Chestertown and Washington College and I was in love with the idea.  Despite the horrible forecast and rain leading up to the time of their shoot, luck was on our side and the rain stayed away for the whole thing.  So so happy that it did, though I know that even if it hadn’t, we still would have had a blast.  I can’t wait for their April 2015 wedding at Silver Swan Bayside!!  Kim and Mike told me that during the entire time they went to school at Washington College, they saw this fountain actually on only a couple of times.  I must have good luck with this fountain because the two times I’ve shot there it’s been on both times.  So if you ever want to go there and have the fountain be on then take me with you….I’ll make sure it happens  😉
There was some pretty comical commentary going on during these photos coming from a lady that came out of one of the shops.  Mike definitely had plenty of encouragement to really lean Kim back and give her a good kiss.  They’re total troopers for going along with it  🙂Unfortunately, we lost all of our sunlight by the time we got around to making it to Washington College due to some unfriendly traffic for Kim and Mike, but we still made it work and I enjoyed getting to see a little bit of the campus.
