The ring was burning a hole in Scott’s pocket. Every plan he made for proposing to Lindsay fell by the wayside once the ring was actually in his possession. At first, he planned for July 4th weekend, but he decided that was way too far away. Nix that plan. The new plan was to propose on the dock by the water at their favorite restaurant, the Charthouse in Annapolis. Scott picked the ring up on June 22nd, a Friday, and once Lindsay got home from work they got ready to go out to a friend’s house. As she was walking out the door she realized she had forgotten her keys. She turned around and saw Scott down on one knee in the middle of their living room. The excitement and nerves were too much and he just had to ask her right then and there. She said Yes!! 🙂
I think the excitement that Scott felt about asking Lindsay to be his wife was the same sort of excitement Lindsay had on their wedding day, waiting to make him her husband. Her excitement was contagious and I couldn’t help but smile as she walked down the aisle with the biggest smile on her face a bride could ever have. I seriously enjoyed every single minute I got to spend with them on their wedding day. Their love and excitement was tangible and I am so happy to have been a part of it. They truly are the kind of couple that I feel privileged to be around because they are that genuine and kind hearted. Not only to each other, but to everyone that was there that day. Thank you guys so much for sharing your love story with me. I wish you a lifetime of smiles even bigger than the ones in these photos…..if that’s possible! 😉
