Winery at Bull Run Wedding : Virginia + Kris

You guys, I’m actually blogging today! And I LOVED this Winery at Bull Run wedding something fierce! If you want to read about me gushing over my love for Virginia and Kris, owners of Bodymass Gym and a couple that I feel could take over the world, check out their engagement session post here. But for their wedding post, I wanted to let you all hear them gushing over each other, in their own words, because it’s all seriously too heartwarming not to share.

Leading up to the wedding day, I send my couples a questionnaire that they fill out in order to give me all the info I’ll need to make sure their wedding day runs smoothly on my end. But along with the timelines and family photo lists, I ask them to tell me about each other. What they love about this person they’re about to marry. Here’s what Virginia and Kris said…..

From Kris:
“Virginia is someone who constantly makes the lives of people around her better and the room always lights up when she walks in. I got excited the first time I saw her (she didn’t remember me being there of course 😉 ) and still get that same feeling every time she comes in the room after being away from me for a while. I am a stubborn person, moody, and get down on myself and Virginia is always there to put me in my place when I need it, but also there to pick me up when I need it most. She has been a true life partner…always ready to go on whatever journey my crazy mind decides I want to go on. Someone once said there is going to be a point in a marriage where each of you have to carry 90% of the load. You have to be confident that your partner is willing to do that. I have never doubted that with Virginia because she demonstrates that ability every day. (Plus she is easy on the eyes so that helps too!)”

From Virginia:
“Kris is so patient with me. I’m someone who works a lot, always has a million things going on and he helps me stay calm. He also offers a type of support that I’ve never experienced before. I’m a competitive Figure athlete (in the world of bodybuilding), and rather than just giving me words of encouragement, Kris will actually follow my nutrition and workout program with me, for weeks at a time- just to support me. He will alter his lifestyle and his downtime to help adapt to mine just so we can spend time together. He is thoughtful, sincere and supportive- and has a work ethic, and motivational drive that matches mine (which is hard to find!)”

Virginia’s dad sang a beautiful song during the ceremony….Kris has two brothers and Virginia has two sisters. I don’t think there could be a more perfect wedding party!I told Virginia to do whatever she wanted. Love this girl.What other bride does push-ups on her wedding day??!!
