This wedding. People. Let me tell you about this wedding and the reasons I loved it. For one, it was my first one of 2014 so it kickstarted my wedding season and I’m excited to be back into the swing of things and spending my time at weddings (they’re like some of the happiest places on Earth. Take that Disneyland.). Second, I got to go back to Ceresville Mansion. That venue holds a special place in my heart as it’s where I myself got married. So it was nice to see another couple enjoying it as I did. And third, and most important, Ingrid and Matt!! Ever since their e-session I’ve been looking forward to getting to spend some time with these two again. They’re people that you just want to be around and be friends with.
We started the day at Mountain View Community Church in Frederick where Ingrid and Matt said their vows amongst friends and family. It was a sweet and touching ceremony, especially when Matt’s Mom got up and sang “When I Say I Do”. I’ll admit I teared up from that one as I saw the joy on her face and watched as Matt and Ingrid never let go of each other’s hands and sang some of the words along with his Mom to each other. Then it was picture and party time at Ceresville. And oh my goodness….the light!! Something magical was happening with the light down in the meadow that day and I wish I had had all evening to spend down there with Ingrid and Matt, but for some reason I had to let them get back to their wedding festivities 😉
Now picture time! Enjoy!
I had a lot of fun with these guys. Nothing like heading down to see the groomsmen and being greeted with what’s pictured there on the left. GORGEOUS Ingrid!!!! Time for magic light….. I know already that this is going to be one of my absolute favorites of the entire year of weddings. Gangnam Style under the Pergola?? Why not?! 🙂
Oh my gosh! Love the one of the groomsmen all ducking for cover in the game room! And that light! SO PRETTY!!
