Hi, I'm Lauren! Welcome to my blog! I'm a Maryland wedding and portrait photographer that loves beautiful light and has an obsession with the water. This is my pretty little place to show off all of my most recent photography adventures and the stories behind them. So get comfy and have a look around!

Ingrid & Matt’s E-Session : University of Maryland College Park {Maryland Portrait Photographer}

Life without you is like a broken pencil.  It’s pointless.  At least that’s how the saying normally goes.  But not when you leave it up to Matt.  When Matt proposed to Ingrid he did his own version.  I think it went something like “Life is like a pointless pencil.  It’s broken.”  You would think that he got so nervous that he accidentally messed it up, but no.  It was on purpose.  That’s just how these two are.  They’re complete goofballs and I seriously had so much fun wandering around campus at College Park with them to grab some photos for their engagement session.  They both attended college there, and it’s where they met, so they were showing me around pointing out buildings and telling me about the exam week traditions wtih Testudo.  We got into arguments over whether College Park or Hood College (yay Hood!) has the better black squirrels and I learned that the central grassy mall area at College Park is the largest in the country, beating out UVA by 6 inches.  If I was UVA I would be laying down some sod today.  Come on, six inches, I wouldn’t let them beat me like that.  😉

I really do adore these two.  My goal is always to make sure my couples have a lot of fun while we take pictures, but I felt like I didn’t have to do that at all with Matt and Ingrid.  It felt like they were out to make sure I had fun.  I had a blast and I know that their wedding is going to be more of the same.  I can’t wait to celebrate at Ceresville Mansion with you two next year!!    UMD College Park-1.jpg UMD College Park-2.jpgUMD College Park-3.jpgUMD College Park-5.jpgUMD College Park-7.jpgUMD College Park-9.jpgUMD College Park-11.jpgUMD College Park-12.jpgUMD College Park-13.jpgUMD College Park-15.jpgUMD College Park-18.jpgUMD College Park-19.jpgUMD College Park-21.jpgUMD College Park-23.jpgUMD College Park-26.jpgUMD College Park-27.jpgUMD College Park-28.jpgUMD College Park-30.jpgUMD College Park-31.jpgUMD College Park-33.jpgUMD College Park-34.jpgUMD College Park-36.jpgUMD College Park-38.jpgUMD College Park-39.jpgUMD College Park-41.jpgUMD College Park-42.jpgUMD College Park-44.jpgUMD College Park-48.jpg
