Hi, I'm Lauren! Welcome to my blog! I'm a Maryland wedding and portrait photographer that loves beautiful light and has an obsession with the water. This is my pretty little place to show off all of my most recent photography adventures and the stories behind them. So get comfy and have a look around!

T-n-T : Brookside Gardens & Bethesda Marriott Wedding {Maryland Wedding Photographer}

T-n-T!!!  This bride and groom have asked that I not use their actual names for their blog post, but they said that calling them T-n-T is fine.  So I will.  Because it’s cool.  🙂  But I guess I’ll also just call them Bride and Groom.  Not as cool.  Oh well.

According to T-n-T, when they first met in person, after meeting and talking to each other online, Groom thought that Bride was the cutest girl ever.  Bride thought Groom looked too skinny.  Then on one of their dates, while they were just laying around enjoying each other’s company, Bride asked Groom out of the blue, “Would you ever eat a human?”  But she didn’t say human like you would imagine.  It was hu-mon.  And now saying hu-mon is an inside joke between them and their friends.  No wonder this guy fell head over heels in love with her  😉

T-n-T are fantastic people.  They’re very professional, polite, and organized on the surface.  But spend a little bit of time around them and their humor, happiness, and fun personalities are contagious.  And they are absolutely CRAZY about each other!!  I can’t tell you how many times throughout their wedding day Groom was chatting with me and would look over at Bride and tell me that she is the most beautiful woman in the world.  And that she’s hot.  Like super hot.

Their wedding day was made up of a beautiful ceremony at Brookside Gardens and one awesome party afterwards at the Bethesda Marriott with music provided by the absolutely awesome Scott of Elite Mixers Entertainment (he’s so cool he let me DJ for a hot second….I should definitely stick with photography).  While it was one of the longer weddings I’ve photographed because of a longer than normal time gap between the ceremony and reception, I was so thankful for the time.  We were able to take our time wandering around the gardens for photos and then, once at the Marriott, I had the chance to spend more time with T-n-T playing around with photos that I don’t normally do.  The extra time gave me the chance to step outside of my comfort zone and take some more “dramatic” and fun photos.  I LOVED IT!!  T-n-T were awesome sports about the whole process and were willing to do whatever I asked of them.  Win!!

Thank you so much for sharing your day with me, T-n-T!!  I was one happy hu-mon  😉 Brookside Gardens-1.jpgBrookside Gardens-3.jpg
